DocuCopy Business Paper FAQs

Who uses reinforced business papers?

+What is reinforced business paper?
DocuCopy Reinforced Business Paper is copier paper with reinforcement along the binding edge.  The reinforced edge strengthens the sheet to prevent it from tearing out of the binding.

+What are the advantages of using reinforced business paper?

Save time and money with DocuCopy business papers, which come pre-reinforced.

Traditional paper reinforcement methods include time-consuming reinforcement stickers or expensive sheet protectors.

A film strip is indented in the sheet on the binding edge for reinforcement.  Indenting means sheets lay flat when stacked – a feature that’s important for runability.  Paper trays can still be filled to capacity with DocuCopy reinforced business papers.

+What type of equipment is compatible with reinforced business papers?
Desktop, laser and high-speed digital equipment, as well as traditional offset presses, run DocuCopy business papers without issue.

If you are having running complications, contact your DocuCopy distributor.

Samples are also available through your DocuCopy distributor.

+Can I run DocuCopy reinforced business paper on my desktop printer?
Yes.  Most desktop printers run reinforced paper seamlessly.

Contact your DocuCopy distributor for test samples.

+Can I print on both sides of the sheet (duplexing)?
Many users print on both sides of DocuCopy reinforced business papers.  However, the sheets are not specifically designed to be duplexed.

Success will depend on your equipment and print environment.
